William Penn entered their tilt with Howard on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 62-57 W against the Howard Wildcats. This was payback for the Colonials, who suffered a 54-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Howard lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bryson Lane, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. Nick Baysah was another key player, going 7 of 17 to rack up 16 points.

William Penn's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

William Penn and Howard should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Delaware Rankings. William Penn will challenge Delcastle Technical at 5:30 p.m. on Monday up 35 places (9 vs. 44). Meanwhile, Howard (ranked second) will meet Concord (ranked 48th) at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
