The Versailles Tigers can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Tipton 78-49 at home. The win was nothing new for Versailles as they're now sitting on five straight.
Versailles got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryder Williams out in front who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Versailles' points. Reese Murdock was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Tipton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Bailey, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Zach Moon, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Versailles has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Tipton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
Versailles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 83-32 win vs. Buffalo on the 10th. Tipton has also already played their next game, a 69-52 win against Smithton on the 9th.
