Pleasant Grove never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Payson Lions 48-0. The  contest marked the Vikings' most dominant  win of the  season.

Leading Pleasant Grove to victory were  Connor Ybarra and  Tavake Wolfgramm.  Ybarra rushed for 79 yards and two  touchdowns, while  Wolfgramm gained 132 total yards and a touchdown. Those  79  rushing yards gave  Ybarra a new career-high.
 Pleasant Grove didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Payson to a completion percentage of just 46.9%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from seven players:  Cannon Smith,  Bo Goodman,  Cohen Vohs,  Ethan Passey,  Ryder Huntsman,  Graham Robinson,  and  Adam Wright, who each logged one passes deflected. Pleasant Grove wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 61.1%.
 Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Dexton Nuttall, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Payson, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record  this season.
 Pleasant Grove will challenge Northridge at 5:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. Payson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
