Canyon View put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Paradise Valley Trojans with a sharp  26-0 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won nine contests by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Emily Davis was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with four  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news, Canyon View got a  massive  performance out of  Savannah Huhta, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. That's the most  hits  Huhta has posted since back in April of 2024.  Brooke Downs was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Canyon View  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .744. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paradise Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .000.
Canyon View pushed their record up to 11-0 with the  win, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Paradise Valley,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Coming up,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Canyon View Jaguars  take on  Liberty Lions at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Canyon View will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last. As for Paradise Valley, they will be playing at home against Canyon View  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
