In what's become a running theme this season, the Copley Indians gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 62-30 victory over Barberton on the road. The win was nothing new for Copley as they're now sitting on seven straight.
It was another big night for Izzy Callaway, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Copley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Mcknight, who scored 11 points.
Copley pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Barberton, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copley will take on Revere at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Revere will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Copley is ranked 17th). As for Barberton, they will be playing at home against Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
