Colton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Rialto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yellowjackets will face off against the Knights at 3:45 p.m. Colton will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Colton barely beat Eisenhower the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Eagles on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.
JASMINE DELAROSA made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one RBI.

In other batting news, STEPHANIE DELACRUZ was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. DESIREE ARMENTA was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Colton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Arroyo Valley hit Rialto with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights lost 11-2 to the Hawks.
Arianna Munoz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered 11 runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Rialto saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desiree Saldate, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Colton pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Rialto, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Rialto's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Colton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Rialto, though, as they've been averaging only 3.5 strikeouts. Will Colton keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Everything went Colton's way against Rialto in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as Colton made off with an 18-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
