Everything came up roses for Watertown against Jackson County on Friday as the team secured a 48-6 victory. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Watertown, who can brag about seven blowout wins.
The Watertown offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 35 points. Meanwhile, Jackson County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 35-0 heading into the break. Watertown put the game away in the third quarter with 13 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. The loss dropped Jackson County's record to 1-7.
