UME Preparatory Academy won the last time they faced Newman International Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The EAGLES put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the EAGLES have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Adelina Sauceda was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Madison Holland was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.

UME Preparatory Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Newman International Academy only posted an OBP of .053.

UME Preparatory Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Newman International Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
