Baseball Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against American Leadership Academy

While Hilton Head Christian Academy put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for American Leadership Academy. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Patriots. Considering the Eagles have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Richardson was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Colella, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Hilton Head Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .756. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hilton Head Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for American Leadership Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Hilton Head Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Hilton Head Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 4.1, the Dolphins 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for American Leadership Academy, they will host Pelion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
