Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shaw). They blew past the Columbus Blue Devils 72-44 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Raiders have posted since December 12, 2023.

Shaw got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zack Denson out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Houseweart, who put up 13 points.

Shaw's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Columbus, their record now sits at 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shaw will challenge Hardaway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Shaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season. As for Columbus, they will face off against Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Columbus is facing Jordan at the right time seeing as Jordan is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
