The Raines Vikings had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They breezed by Andrew Jackson on the road to the tune of 40-8. With Raines ahead 26-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Raines was led to victory by Ty'ren Randolph and Mark Miller. Randolph rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while Miller rushed for 102 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Amari Mcintyre did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 91 receiving yards.
King-William Johnson and Anthony Jones certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Johnson threw for 100 yards and a touchdown on only six passes, while Jones picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jones 's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Raines' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Andrew Jackson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
