The Angola HomeSchool Warriors can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 49-38 victory over Mishawaka HomeSchool W. That 11 points margin sets a new team best for Angola HomeSchool this season.
Colten Dobrodt and Zackary Elmerick certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Dobrodt scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Elmerick scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Dobrodt hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
Angola HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Angola HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Benton HomeSchool at 8:45 p.m. on February 9th. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they will take on FAITH HomeSchool at 8:40 p.m. on Friday.
