Covenant Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
Covenant Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Jayton at 2:00 p.m. on December 8th. Jayton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matchups. As for Edgewood, they will square off against Collinsville at TBD on Saturday. Collinsville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1211th, while Edgewood is ranked 573rd).
