Volleyball Recap: St. Paul's Starts Season with Win at Home

St. Paul took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Big Red, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Paul's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Noble & Greenough is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

St. Paul's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Austin Prep at 3:00 p.m. on October 1. As for Noble & Greenough, they will square off against Buckingham Browne & Nichols at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
