The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs were the 70-57 winner over the Pender Patriots when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. Wallace-Rose Hill fell 53-45 to Pender on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wallace-Rose Hill has scored all season.
Pender got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Hansley out in front who scored 20 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hansley has scored all season. Ryan Howell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Wallace-Rose Hill now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Pender, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.
Wallace-Rose Hill will head out on the road to square off against James Kenan at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. James Kenan will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Pender will take on Heide Trask at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heide Trask is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
