There's no place like home for the Twin Springs Titans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lee by a score of 48-40 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Twin Springs, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Lee still got an impressive performance from Brynnen Pendergraft, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds. Pendergraft scored a full 62.5% of Lee's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Twin Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lee, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Twin Springs will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jenkins presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Twin Springs in their respective states (Jenkins is ranked 187th in Kentucky, while Twin Springs is ranked 375th in Virginia). Lee and Eastside will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Eastside is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
