Scott's Branch scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Johnsonville by a score of 65-54. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Scott's Branch as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Chris Barringer and Nigel Lawson were among the main playmakers for Scott's Branch as the former scored 14 points along with five rebounds and the latter scored 12 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barringer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Randy Williams, who scored three points along with five steals.
Even though Bethune-Bowman has not done well against Bamberg-Ehrhardt recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Bethune-Bowman really took it to Bamberg-Ehrhardt for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-37 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Bethune-Bowman sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Scott's Branch's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Bethune-Bowman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.
