Alesandre Monge went supernova for Northeast Metro RVT, scoring 17 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Monge has scored all season. Richard Cardoso was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Stoneham has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Northeast Metro RVT, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Everything came up roses for Stoneham against Northeast Metro RVT when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 74-46 win. With Stoneham ahead 45-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
