Hamilton has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the New York Mills Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully the Marauders like a good challenge.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Hamilton ultimately got the result they hoped for two weeks ago. They managed a 68-64 win over Waterville. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, New York Mills pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 73-60 to Cooperstown.
Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for New York Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Everything came up roses for Hamilton against the Marauders in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 78-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamilton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
