Another player making a difference was  Leigh Parker Morgan, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Starkville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Clinton, they now  have a losing record of 6-7.
