In what's become a running theme this season, the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 64-29 victory over Bishop Fenwick at home. Winning may never get old, but Cincinnati Country Day sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Cincinnati Country Day had a senior duo take command as Megan Zimmerman scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals and Elizabeth Zimmerman scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Zimmerman continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Easter, who scored six points along with two steals.
Cincinnati Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Bishop Fenwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-20.
Cincinnati Country Day will play host again and welcome North College Hill, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North College Hill is coming into the contest with five straight victories on the road, so Cincinnati Country Day is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Bishop Fenwick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
