It was a good run, but the Clear Lake Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 88-55 loss at the hands of Dickinson. Clear Lake has struggled against the Gators recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jazmine Klausmeier, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirsten Lippold, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
It was another big night for Jazmine Hansley, who scored 40 points along with six assists and six steals for Dickinson. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hansley has scored all season. Lindsey Scott was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 18 rebounds and six steals.
Clear Lake's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-16. As for Dickinson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.
Clear Lake will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Clear Falls is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Dickinson, they will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Gators are ranked 84th).
