Hubbard's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braydon Songer, who scored 15 points along with two blocks, and Gavin Rybicki who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Hubbard has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Girard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-15.
Hubbard will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
