Washington-Lee will challenge Annandale on the road at Annandale High School at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
Washington-Lee ended up a good deal behind Madison when they played last Friday, losing 17-35. Washington-Lee were down by 3-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Annandale came up short against Fairfax, falling 8-15.
Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
