Destin was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Alabama Aerospace and Aviation on Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 66-36 stomp they got against Alabama Aerospace and Aviation. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Destin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Memphis DeLong led the charge by dropping a triple-double on 19 points, 11 boards, and ten blocks. DeLong is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Calix McCune was another key player, going 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points.

Destin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Alabama Aerospace and Aviation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
