Leading Patrick Henry Academy to victory were Saquoia Sexton and Lillian Lucas. Sexton dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Lucas posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Lucas has been hot , having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Laney Futch was another key player, earning seven points plus 14 rebounds and two steals.
Bluffton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they will challenge John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
