After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Marion brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let Baxter get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. Marion might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Marion pushed their record up to 8-2-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four games. As for Baxter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-2.

Marion has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Grinnell on the 2nd. As for Baxter, they are taking a road trip to take on Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
