The Avalon Eagles lost against the Aquilla Cougars back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Avalon fell 32-23 to Aquilla.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brooklyn Elerson, who scored seven points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Elerson has scored all season.
Avalon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Aquilla, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Perrin-Whitt the next time they take the court. Avalon will head out to face Perrin-Whitt at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Aquilla will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
