If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for West Sioux. They will challenge Sioux Center on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. West Sioux will be strutting in after a victory while Sioux Center will be stumbling in from a defeat.
West Sioux was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Central Lyon/George-Little Rock last week as they made off with a 42-14 win.
Meanwhile, Sioux Center might have drawn first blood against West Lyon, but it was West Lyon who got the last laugh. Sioux Center took a hard 7-26 fall.
Sioux Center's loss took them down to 1-1 while West Sioux's victory pulled them up to 1-1. A win for Sioux Center would reverse both their bad luck and West Sioux's good luck. We'll see if Sioux Center manages to pull off that tough task or if West Sioux keeps their momentum going instead.
