The Wapakoneta Redskins will face off against the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Wapakoneta 2.2, Perrysburg 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Perrysburg will be up against a hot Wapakoneta team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Wapakoneta's pitcher stepped up to hand St. Henry a 5-0 shutout on Monday.
Daron Houser made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Perrysburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Maumee 6-5.
JD Zeeb was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Brayden Heitmeyer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Wapakoneta's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Perrysburg, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wapakoneta has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Perrysburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Wapakoneta couldn't quite get it done against Perrysburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2015 as they fell 6-2. Will the Redskins have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
