Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NOVA HomeSchool). They blew past the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs 15-5 on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

NOVA HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. Southern Maryland Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, NOVA HomeSchool will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Fairfax HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. Fairfax HomeSchool has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.55 runs per game on average), something NOVA HomeSchool will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Potomac School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
