There's no place like home for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Neoga Indians on Thursday. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

While Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-19.

Allison Shields paced Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's offense, picking up seven kills. Shields got some help from Gracie Wright and her 13 assists. Wright was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Neoga, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-20.
