The Faith Christian Eagles won the last time they faced the Clinton Central Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Faith Christian simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clinton Central 67-37 on the road.
Connor Todhunter-dawson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rj Berry, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Davison, who scored seven points along with three steals. Max Adair was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Clinton Central, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Faith Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-57 win vs. Tri-Central on the 10th. Clinton Central will be playing in front of their home fans against North Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Central is coming into the contest with nine straight losses at home, meaning North Montgomery will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
