Seneca and Youngsville are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Seneca put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They never let Eisenhower get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Jared Gladitz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Seneca: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 2-12 otherwise. Gladitz was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Kendall Yosten was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Danny Carter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Seneca was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .630. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Youngsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Northwestern by a score of 12-11. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 4-0 in the first period.
Youngsville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Baker, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Baker is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Youngsville's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Seneca has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Youngsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Seneca came up short against Youngsville when the teams last played back in April, falling 11-7. Will the Bobcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
