Trinity extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 11-15. They came up short against the Mt. Shasta Bears, falling 20-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Adriana Seele was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hallee Prather, who went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run.
As for Mt. Shasta, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-9. Considering they have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On Mt. Shasta's side, Emily Pigoni made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Pigoni was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her seven plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Mt. Shasta got a massive performance out of Isabelle Danel, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, two triples, and three runs. That's the most triples Danel has posted since back in March. Kaley Lanier was another key player, going 3-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mt. Shasta beat Trinity by a score of 5-2 later that day.
