Despite the loss, San Jon saw an underclassman step up: Truitt Sallee scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 68.8% of San Jon's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Gutierrez, who scored two points along with seven rebounds.
San Jon's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their win bumped their record up to 143-251-1.
San Jon will head out on the road to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Rochester School for the Deaf at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
