The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats will stay at home for another game and welcome the Candor Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bainbridge-Guilford put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Unadilla Valley with a sharp 41-18 win. Bainbridge-Guilford pushed the score to 31-10 by the end of the third, a deficit Unadilla Valley had little chance of recovering from.
Johnna Henderson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marissa Mayo, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Candor didn't have too much trouble with Vernon-Verona-Sherrill at home back in December of 2023 as they won 47-31.
Bainbridge-Guilford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Candor, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
Bainbridge-Guilford beat Candor 47-36 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Bainbridge-Guilford repeat their success, or does Candor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
