Soccer Recap: Blythewood Has No Trouble Against Ridge View

Blythewood kept a clean sheet against Ridge View on Tuesday. They blew past the Blazers 6-0. The result was nothing new for Blythewood, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Ridge View from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Christian Paez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Blythewood and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Ridge View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Blythewood and Ridge View will both be playing Westwood the next time they take the pitch. The Bengals will host the Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Blazers will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
