The Hill County Wolves came up short against Jubilee Lake View University Prep on Saturday, falling 53-31.
Hill County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tristan Knight, who rushed for 156 yards on only 14 carries, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most total yards Knight has posted since back in October of 2023. Another back making a difference was Evan Knight, who rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Hill County wouldn't let Jubilee Lake View University Prep keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Jonathan Fisk, Christian Sutton, and Shawn Dutcher picked up one apiece. Fisk also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making five total tackles, and defending a pass.
Hill County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jubilee Lake View University Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
