Alonso has gone a perfect 9-0 against Robinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Ravens will head out to square off against the Knights at 11:00 a.m. Alonso is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Alonso took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Strawberry Crest. Considering the Ravens have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Julian Batista got the start for Alonso and what a start it was: he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Raymond Llanes, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Alonso is 2-1 when Llanes posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Ihonathan Perez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Newsome.
Robinson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Bryan, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Another was Tommy Fitzgerald, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
The victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Robinson's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Saturday. Alonso has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Robinson, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 strikeouts. Will Alonso keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Alonso beat Robinson 5-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
