Starting off the list is Tri-Valley's Jace Waggoner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Waggoner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 213 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Waggoner has thrown 10 touchdowns (and and only 1 pick) while averaging 76.6 passing yards per game.

Owen Hatfield and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Owen Hatfield's big game helped extend Council's winning streak to four on Friday. Garden Valley had no answer to Hatfield as he rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 11 passes.
Council pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Hatfield and Council will head out to take on Cascade at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Olson As Cascade Won 36-14
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cole Olson stepped things up a notch to give Cascade the 'W'. Olson was dynamite, rushing for 195 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles.
Cascade pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Olson and Cascade will host Council at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Trey Bauer Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Trey Bauer posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Horseshoe Bend over Cascade on Friday. Bauer rushed for 248 yards and a touchdown while picking up 14.6 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 97-yard run.
Horseshoe Bend is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. Bauer and Horseshoe Bend have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Salmon River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Trevor Corn Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Trevor Corn of Garden Valley. Corn rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
Garden Valley moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Corn's next contest is against Tri-Valley on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
