The North Wake S Saints entered their tilt with the South Wake Lions with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. North Wake S blew past South Wake 40-6 at home. The result was nothing new for North Wake S, who have now won five games by 34 points or more so far this season.
Jordan Reid was a one-man wrecking crew for North Wake S as he rushed for 220 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry. Reid really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run. Kevon Moore was another key contributor, rushing for 88 yards on only five carries.
North Wake S's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. South Wake's QB won't forget Avery Hall anytime soon given Hall sacked him five times.
North Wake S's victory was their third straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40 points. As for South Wake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
North Wake S will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wake Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for South Wake, they will head out on the road to face off against Hickory H at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Hickory H is ranked 383rd, while South Wake is ranked 405th).
