Basketball Recap: Lincoln High Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Lincoln High lost to Lincoln East back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lincoln High Links came out on top against the Lincoln East Spartans by a score of 45-35. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Links.

Lincoln High pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Lincoln East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln High will head out to face off against Papillion-LaVista South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln East, they will square off against Gretna East at 5:30 p.m. on February 14th.
