 On Pottsville's side,  Jacob Filiac was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Alan Kushwarra, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI and a  double.
 Lehighton's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-5. As for Pottsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
 Lehighton will head out on the road to  face off against  Shenandoah Valley at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Lehighton is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season. As for Pottsville, they will be playing at home against Fleetwood at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Fleetwood's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so Pottsville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
