They took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 74-47 victory over Julian. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-15.
Bonsall found their leader in underclassman Kaimana Levy, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Levy has scored at least 25% of Bonsall's points. Nathan Winebrenner was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Gompers Prep Academy bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.3 points per game. As for Bonsall, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Gompers Prep Academy took their win against Bonsall in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 80-57. With Gompers Prep Academy ahead 52-24 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
