 On the hitting side, Waldron let  Emily Kluthe and  Harlow Dickens run wild. Kluthe  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 4-for-4, while  Dickens  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. The dominant performance gave  Dickens a new career-high in  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Khloe Summit, who  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 1-for-1.
 Waldron was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Charleston only posted a  batting average of  .111.
Waldron's win  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-4. As for Charleston,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Waldron has  already played their next  game (against Danville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Charleston, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Westside  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games Charleston has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
