The Williston Red Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Chiefland Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Williston has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Williston blew Forest out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Forest got their revenge. The Red Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-3.

| 03/30/26 @ Middleburg | 2 |
| 03/26/26 vs Newberry | 3 |
Brooklyn Bertrand made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Emily Asencion was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Chiefland scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Union County by a score of 13-11. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Fighting Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Anna Jane Meeks and Evie Meeks did some serious damage despite the final result: Anna Jane went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Evie fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-5. Anna Jane also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Weatherford, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Chiefland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Williston, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
Williston's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's matchup. The Red Devils have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Chiefland, though, as they've been averaging only 0.9 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Williston continue to outrun the ball?
Williston got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February against Chiefland by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
