Fredonia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Campbell Odell, who scored 7 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Harlee Blackwell, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fredonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Neodesha, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Neodesha, they will be playing at home against West Elk at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully West Elk focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
