Ridgeline is 8-2 against Bear River since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Ridgeline Riverhawks will head out on the road to take on the Bear River Bears at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Green Canyon typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Ridgeline proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 59-45.
Jagger Francom was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Cox, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Even though Bear River has not done well against Sky View recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bear River walked away with a 68-55 win over Sky View. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bear River.
Ridgeline's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bear River, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Ridgeline beat Bear River 58-48 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Ridgeline repeat their success, or does Bear River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
