Putnam Valley never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over The Leffell School Lions. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Putnam Valley let Jay Constantino and James Sanford run wild. Constantino got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Sanford went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Joey Recuppio, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

The win was the third in a row for Putnam Valley, bringing their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for The Leffell School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

As of now, neither Putnam Valley nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
